How we make our products

Three generations. One plant in Indore. Nothing we can't consume ourselves.

Dr. Veda's began in 1996 with Dr. Mohan Makhija, one of Indore's leading Ayurveda doctors of his time. His son Sunil Makhija, a pharmacist, built the manufacturing side. Today the third generation runs the same family business from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Made in-house, not outsourced. Every Dr. Veda's product is made in our own plant in Indore - an AYUSH-licensed, GMP-certified Ayurvedic unit, with FSSAI-licensed food production for our juices and malts. Herbs are sourced, cleaned, purified and processed by our own team. We do not buy ready-made products and relabel them.

Purification the classical way. Where classical texts call for shodhana (purification) of an ingredient, it is done in-house, the way the texts describe, before that ingredient enters any formula.

Tested batches. Each batch is checked in-house before packing, and we keep batch records so every bottle and jar can be traced back.

Our family uses these products every day. Our promise is simple: we don't make anything we can't consume.
